Meet our Founder
Angel City Aerospace Foundation was incorporated in 2023 as a 501 (c) 3 organization by Alaska Airlines Boeing 737 Pilot Mia Hutcherson. As a child she always “dreamt big”. Growing into the aviation professional she is today, she discovered a void within the inner city of Los Angeles as well as neighboring underserved and underfunded communities. This discovery motivated the inception of the Angel City Aerospace Foundation. Through partnerships, community involvement, corporate partners, and local city leaders we intend to ignite a passion for aviation within the next generation of young leaders.
